Barack Obama is now many things a father, the president of the United States of America, and the first African American to be a president. But he is also very wise, his speech told us he was going to fix the wrongs that have happened in America. His speech was the most hopeful thing I've ever heard. The inauguration was very popular. All the people watching from the stands couldn't wait for Barack to actually come out when he did come out everyone applauded him. The things Barack Obama said made me realize the United States is a proud great place, the people in this country will do whatever they can to protect this country, and that this would be such an honor to be done to anyone. Barack Obama did his speech in 18 minutes and 10 seconds leaving no questions for me.

My response to today's Presidential Inauguration, is that I realize, the change we can make from black people being free of the abuse they had to stand, to landing on the moon.
During the Inauguration speech, I realized that this day stands for liberty, freedom, and everything the constitution is for and that this is history, change and greatness in the making.
The only question I came up with is what about the rest, can America help the rest of the world a better place? Can our country together force a greater cause? The answer, yes we probably can, though we need each other to do so.

My response to the Presidential Inauguration was that it was a very special time of great history that would be told for years and years. I was thinking about how all of our lives were going to change in a day. Another thing I was thinking was that during Barack Obama's speech, he didn't just sound like he was saying words, he was saying those words with his heart. A couple questions I had was: Did Obama always want to be a president? How many years did he want to become a president?
I thought that Obama's speech was very good. Barack explained what he was going to do to help our planet be safer and neater, and he said it so well.
Some things I got out of his speech was that all people should treat others the same, and not judge them by the color of their skin.

My response was that I think that Obama is going to be a good president because he wants to change the world and he is the first African American president. The questions I had was how can he help change the planet?
His speech was how I know he wanted to help save the planet. What I thought about his speech is it was really good because he said it with power.#15

My response to the Presidential Inauguration was that it was exciting to see our first black president of the United States of America. As I was watching the news I was thinking what Barack will do to help our economy, power, and the war. But after Barack's speech I understood what his plan was to help us to solve our problems. A question I had while watching was is he really going to help us with our problem? #9

The inauguration was really exiting when he came out of the red door.
I thought about the economics and jobs people were losing. Then I wondered if the economics were going to stay that way or not.
I thought Obama's speech was really honest. His words sounded true. What I got out of it was that I learned that Obama is worried about the war like I am.

I say today's inauguration was very historical, because not only is Obama president, he is the first black president in the history of the United States of America. I was thinking Obama was very excited to be president, but also make it fair for America. I wanted to know what his daughters thought about their dad becoming president and what they would do afterwards. I think President Obama's speech was really good because of all the responsible things he said. An important thing I got out of it was how he will protect the name of the United States of America.

My response is that Mr. Obama may be okay as the president. I was thinking about what he'll do for our country. And I only have two questions. Is he right for our country, like is he able to do his duties? And is he able to protect our nation, and his family, and do his duties without any mistakes?
Sincerely,

I think that seeing an inauguration on TV is a great da way for children to learn what is going on these days. I think it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen, and I learned a lot but the thing I liked most was Obama's speech it was so direct, he told exactly what he wanted to do, how he was going to help and all that other stuff that we could use. I think that it was so, so, so, so, cool to see a president elect become a president, to see a vice president elect become vice president. I just hope he will be the best president ever and I hope his family is proud of him if not there could be a problem.

My response to the Presidential Inaguration was a surprise of how well the speeches were and all the things they talked about and more.
Some things I was thinking while I was watching was of how they all knew about important things the president has to do and how the congress works and all of the information the White House needs.
One of my questions that I had was: How did the idea of a President start and What made Barack Obama so special to be the new President of America.
What I think about Obama's speech is that it was a really good speech to people that he is going to try to make prices go down and try to make all sorts of things better.
Some important things I got out of the speech is how people have to pay high prices for their health insurance and more.

When Obama gave his speech I felt like I had to tell people that did not see his speech to change the planet to live on and to end the war that we are in. As peoplewe need to protect our planet and to see what is going on in the war. #10

My response to today's White House inauguration swearing in Barack Obama to the White House as the first African-American president made me feel amazed because I saw important history that will be told for year and years to go. President Obama's speech made me feel glad that America will go back to normal and the economy will become stable again. One thing I was thinking was how is he going to lead us out of our economic recession?

The Presidential Inauguration
I thought that the presidential Inauguration was very cool because Barack Obama is the first African American president. I learned that presidents have to say what some one else said before he can give his speech. One question that I had was... How big is the white house? I think that President Barack Obama gave a very good speech because he made some people cry, laugh and agree about what he was saying. I also think that President Barack Obama said a very good speech because he can talk really well in front of millions of people. Some important things that I learned from his speech was that he will be a very good president because he said that he will let out his hand if people will unclench their fists.

A response I had was they let Obama go out last. Another response that I had was I think that they let Obama oout last was, becuse they wanted to safe the best for last. Some things that I was thinking while I watched was that wasthey did it at the White house and that they saidsomany things that we don't realize most of the time. The question's that I had were, Why did they do Obama last?, Why did it take place aat the White house?

I thought that Obama did his speech very well and put a lot of feeling into it. Some important things are that he made us relize that we have more to think about and that some binesses are going down. Another thing is that he said that people are dieing in the war andthat we should stop. Those are the things I thought were important.

My response is Obama is a good guy and isn't afraid. Though he looked nervous, he stood tall, gave a great speech and reminded us of our freedom. I was thinking that my parents and I did not vote for Obama, but what if he is better than the rest and we should not hate him but give him a chance. My questions are, do they write all that they say or just make things up as the people talk. Another is was the man that gave the prayer truly praying according to his religion, Obama's religion or was it just a speech. I don't think that they need singers
and other entertainments , but I like it that they have someone to tell what is going on and who is next.

We now have the world's first African American president. Obama is our 44th new and improved president. My reaction for Obama's speech was how he won't stop fighting for what is right. Over a million people are right now where Obama stands. A million people are watching on TV right now. And right now there are about a million people fighting for their life to save us and to keep you and me safe.

I think that the Inauguration was very interesting. Obama's speech made me think that we are free for a reason. Because we choose to be free. And that the farmers long ago were important just like our farmers today. Because they give us food, meat, and all sorts of vegetables. While I was watching I was thinking how much history was in the making, and how I was alive to witness it. Some of the questions that I had were, why do you have to be sworn in? Does the wife of the president get sworn in too? Do the wives have a special role in the white house? This is what I thought about Obama's Inauguration.
