Rules at Recess?

After reading the Scholastic News magazine respond to the following question:

University of Nebraska researchers believe too many kids stand around during recess. They think kids would be more active if teachers told them what to do. They say this would increase kids' activity and keep them healthy. Others say kids should be allowed to do what they want during recess. Should there be rules at recess?

Kids should be aloud to do what ever they want during recess. This is my belief because they would like school more to be able to do what ever they want at least one point of the day. Teachers tell them what to do the rest.

I think that there should be rules at recess because you could get really really hurt then the school would be sued.

No,because it would not be that fun with rules.Plus the Kids want to pick what they play.#9

I say no because recess is a time for fun, which means no rules. It's for FREE time, not rule time. It's the only time we get to have fun, and rules for recess is NOT fun.

I think that there shoudn't be rules at resses because resses isn't a time to be active, your active only if you want to be. Resses is a time to get away from the class, have a break from class, and to talk and play with your friends. It is your choise if you want to run and be active at resses.

When I read the Scholastic News and read the question I had to think a little then I most often do. So this is what I though of...
Yes and no because if there was not rules then some people would get hurt bad and others would other bad things. An yes because if there was rules people would lisen and they won't do things they know their not allowd to do.

So I would vote yes because I feel safer when teachers are whatching me and I do what rules when I am out on the playground. So pick yes and No to no rules.

I think there shouldn't be any rules at recess because kids might stop coming to school.

I think that kids should be able to do what they want at recess because recess is a time to take a break for awhile. The only rules that there should be is like no hitting, etc.

No, I don't the kids would be more active at recess if there was rules at recess because I know that no one likes to be bossed around at their free time. Another reason there should be no rules at recess is because at Mark Hopkins I know that no one is not active at recess.I also agree that kids that they are aloud to do what they want at recess because it's there own personal free time from class. Thats why there should be no rules at recess. #9

I think there should be no rules at recess because it is like someone saying what things you can play with and other things that you can't and it is your free time to mess around
