I feel sad and happy because I get to have all the new experiences of middle school, but at the same time I have to leave behind friends and some really great teachers too.
Yes I am sad because like I said before I have to leave behind friends and great teachers.
What I am looking forward to is getting to meet new people and getting a locker.

I do not want to leave school behind, Hopkins is a great school that helped me in many ways. I am sad to leave Hopkins. I have mixed feelings about going to a new school. I feel happy because maybe I get to see my old friends again. I feel sad because I'm leaving Hopkins.

I am really nervous to go to middle school because I won't see as many of my friends, get to hang out with them at recess, and also get to talk to them. I m going to be really sad to leave Hopkins because I have so many good memories here and I am not going to be able to walk through the halls that I used to go in for kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. I think that going to Euclid will be quite a journey for me for three or four more years because I get to meet new people, do more athletic things then I have been, and also be able do make more challenges for me and my future for when I grow up to be an adult. What I am looking forward to in Middle School is that I am going to meet new people, have new teachers, have different classrooms about every forty five minutes or so, and also be able to walk around and have lockers. Lockers are going to take ma forever to figure out. I don't think that I am going to be handling it very well because I can not figure out lock combinations. I am going to miss Hopkins because that is where I made all my friends, met absolutely awesome teachers, and get the opportunity to still go to Hopkins even if I moved far away from here. I am looking forward to figuring out all the different things there are in Euclid and that I won't have as many friends at Euclid then I do now.
I just wanted to say thank you Mrs. Urbanek for helping me get through this year and also always being there for me.

I feel very old and very educated going out of grade school, I am going to miss homeroom classes, some teachers, and more recess than usual. Overall I feel very proud of myself also. I feel excruciating pain leaving Hopkins since I've been here since second grade. Also, because I love the teachers here and the friends and a blast I had here. I am looking forward to my next school( Powell) because it is a very good school and a lot of fun friends and activities to do there.

I fell kid of old and I am kind of sad to leave Hopkins but kind of happy it is good to move on and i am happy to go to middle school but kind of sad that i will be leaving so many people behind that i have worked with in the school year but i am happy to meat knew people that i do not know i will go to a different school than my friends so i will not know a lot of people at my new school and i wont be seeing any of my old friends that will be here so i have a lot of mixed felling about this the thing that i don't have second thoughts about is summer vacation.Buy people

I am excited and nervous to go to middle school. I hope that the 7th and 8th graders are not bullies. There is a shorter break period, and I think that it will be hard to get used to lockers. I know that I haven't been at Hopkins for that long, but I am glad to leave elementary school. I am looking forward to Powell. It sounds like a good school, and my sister has had a good time there. One of the major negatives are the horrific colors. Maroon and black are not a good combination. Running from class to class will be a pain, but I'll get used to it. Sometimes, though elementary school can get boring, and in middle school we don't have to stick with the same boring teacher for the whole year. Overall elementary and middle school have their pros and cons.

Keely I agree with you. I'm happy to go to middle and learn new things and get my own locker.I'm going to miss all my friends and teachers,but the thing I'm going to miss the most is being the king of the school.

I'm so happy. Going to middle school has been my dream. I can't wait to go and meet all my new teachers, all my new friends,and all the new stuff I'm going to learn. I'm also sad some of my friends are going to diffrent middle schools. Even my best friend,but I am going to have my friend Aaron my first friend ever. If it was not for my teachers I would not be going to middle school. I'm going to miss every thing.

Scott I feel very old to and I am very much going to miss Hopkins. I feel proud of my self as well for making it this far, I'm going to miss 5th grade alot it was the best year of my life. Middle school is a new start for me and I have been getting ready for it my hole life.

I will miss Hopkins and I will miss a lot of other people from school. I can not wait to get a new locker.I can't wwait to go to Powell.they have activities and ther things to do there at school to and I cannot wait to go.

Dear class,
I am really sad when it is the end of the year because I love Hopkins and I am really scared to go to muddle school.I also am going to miss all of my friends from the lower grade because I will not see them any more and that is going to be really hard for me to do that.All in all I am not really happy for the end of the year.

I am very sad to leave Hopkins next year. The reason why I am sad is because I will miss all of the teachers,and I will miss all of my friends that are going to the other school. But I am happy to go to middle school because I will get to meet other people, but most of all I will learn more.
