Some schools are putting boys and girls into separate classes. Supporters say students are less distractd when boys and girls are separated. They also say boys and girls have different learning styles and get better grades apart. Opponents say that kids need to learn how to work together successfully, no matter their gender. What do you think? Is keeping boys and girls apart a good idea? Explain your thinking.

I think boys and girls should be put together. I think this because I think it will help boys and girls how to work together. It is a bad idea to keep boys and girls separated just so they can get better grades.

I think it is both a good and bad idea to separate boys and girls. Sometimes when you have the same gender of kids together they work better together, but sometimes it isn't that way. When people go out in public they will only want to be around their gender.

I think that boys and girls should be in the same classroom together because its not a big deal or a distraction of being different genders. I think that the learning styles are the same. Also, we as a class already work splendid together, its a bad idea.

I think that we should not and just leave it how it is because how would we no how to work together.

I think that it is and bad idea because then we all can learn to work together and then when we do have to work together we have more experience at it. Then the job that they are doing together will go much faster if they already know how to work together.

Class, I do not think that people should not separate boys and girls because in the future we will have to work together and we will not have the skills to work with the other kind.

Boys and girls should be in the same class it is just wrong to do that it is just like separating blacks from whites all over again why would they want to do that it just makes school a lot more boring.

I don't think that there should be boys and girls into separate classes because there might not be as many girls as there are boys. If there are only seven girls in the class and fifteen boys in the other that were supposed to be in the same class, then that would mess things up because there wouldn't be as many people to work together then there should be. I think that just because there might be more boys then girls or more girls then boys, then maybe they should stay in the same class so they can work together evenly.

I think its absolutely horrible idea.Its a horrible idea because you don't any fun with other people.Plus you can be confused if you go to a different school that dose not do that and your with a mix of boys and girls and your not used to it you could become scared.

I think that boys and girls should stay in the same class together. Because if they stay in different classes how would they act if they were in the same class? I think we need to have both people in the same class so we can social time.

I agree with both. In certain classes it is important to keep boys and girls separate, because they do have different learning styles. I don't think that it helps with distraction though. In other classes it is important for people to work together and to learn to like each other. Both opinions are right.

I do think that having boys and girls in seperate classes is a good idea. Because boys are the ones that goof off more and they always distract others. Most girls do not distract others and they pay more attention. But on the other hand some boys do listen and they do not distract others. It all depends on how each person acts.

I think you should leave it how it is because then you wouldn't no how to treat people becuase you aren't around them that much.

I think that it is a good idea to have girls and boys because some girls don't like how use boys act. If girls and boys are in diffrent classes then the girls can do the stuff they do and the boy can do the stuff we do.
