i think that a dog would make a better pet because you can play with them and you can snuggle up with them and with cats you can just snuggle and get bitten or scrached and I do not like geting scrached.

The animal that I think would make a better pet would be the dog!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because with cats you can just throw a stick at them and the won't bring it back or any thing and they don't do many things like dogs

A dog. They are big and they can do more stuff than cats. For example, when you want to play with a cat, they go under the couch afraid of you, but a dog will come over to you to play with you.

I really like dogs better than cats. I like dogs better because they are nicer but bigger than cats.

I would have dog because you can have someone to play with.All cats do is sit and sleep on the couch all day long.Another reason I would have a dog is because you can teach it all kinds of tricks.The last reason is because they protect you. #9
I would pick a dog because they are smarter than a cat because one time one was on my porch and the dogs got out and chased that cat.

Dogs are sooooooooo much better than dogs for a pet because you can have more fun with a dog.

I like cat's more but dog's are more fun. But i like cats more because they are calm and nicer.

I like dog because dog are awesome and you can play with them. Cat has a sharp nails, so when they scared they will scratch you. And dog is really friendly and you can teach them a trick, play fetch, and easy to take care of.

I like dogs. Dogs are playful and entertaining. They also are jumpy unlike cats.

I would vote for dogs because dog's are so much better than cats

I say dogs. both cats and dogs are great pets but when cats get old, they do their business where ever. Trust me. Although dogs can be harder to lose.

I think cats make better pets because they exterminate flies and they don't make a really big mess in your house when you are gone like dogs do. They also don't need to be walked and you can always play with them and they won't bite you so hard you bleed. I also think cats are better pets because when you have your feet under a blanket and you wiggle them, the cat will attack your feet. It makes me laugh.
That's why I think cats make better pets.

I love dogs! We have two dogs-Scout and Luna. They are both very energetic and love us very much. We watched "Marley and Me" last night and I cried so hard. It made me appreciate my dogs so much that I went out today and bought them some chew bones. Mary
