Teach Cursive Writing?
Some schools are deciding whether to continue teaching kids cursive writing. They say that there are more important things that young people need to learn in today's fast-paced technological world. Others believe that learning cursive writing is important. Waht do you think? Should schools continue to teach cursive writing? Explain.

No because I don't like to write slow. It takes longer than my brain will go, so I mess up a lot. thats what I think

No I do not think schools should continue teaching cursive writing, because it is such a waste of time. While you're learning your cursive, you would think about what else you could be learning. With all that time writing cursive you could get frustrated, and your hand may get way to sore. It will hurt you, your hand, and your head. You will be on the 5 one and your hand, head, and body will be frustrated, and hurt. Now I think cursive is just a waste of time.

I think that the schools should continue teaching cursive because we use cursive in some of the stuff we do like at the bottom of checks and contracts. So as you can see we still need to learn cursive.

I think that schools should teach cursive because you need o learn how to write cursive because when you grow up you will need to be able to write your name so you can sign checks and you might need to write in cursive to get a house or a car or something and you don't know how to write in cursive you could end up living on the streets and then it would be, whoever stopped cursive, it would be there fault and they could get in trouble. Another ting is that cursive is more profeshinal and it looks really nice if you learn the right way and if they stop cursive all the writing will end up looking dull and boring and then someone might not want to read it because it looks like that but if you tought them cursive and they wrote a paper in print you might noice that a lot of there y's and g's will have curves on them and that will mack the paper look a lot better. What I amtrying to say is the people who have learned cursive like it and if you take that away no one will get to love it to and not learning cursive might make life more boring.

Yes I think that schools should continue to teach cursive writing because when you grow up you need to know how to write it so you can write checks and sign documents.

Yes schools should keep teaching cursive because then when they grow up they will be able to sign papers and checks.

I think that teachers should continue teaching cursive because when they get older they are going to need to learn how so that they could write their signature on a check and they might want to use cursive when they get older instead of printing it. I would like to continue learning cursive.

yes because it is very fun and you can teach kids something new in life and and when you learn how to write it you can try to read it as well. So I say YES schools should keep teaching cursive.

I don't think that school's should keep teaching kids cursive writing, because that is something that parent's can teach there kids in the free time they have at home.There are more important things that they could be teaching there kids in school. They could teach they so much more that are going on in the world and what they might need in the future. That is what I think.

Yes, I think teachers should teach cursive writig so kids could use cursive so in the future when they are writing out paper or if you need to write a check. I think it is important for teachers to teach cursive because teachers are incarge of teaching you on everything. #9
